A digital mammography service close to home offers a variety of conveniences, including it is quicker. A patient safety feature of digital mammography over film-based systems is it can greatly reduce the need for retakes due to over or under exposure. This potentially eliminates return visits and reduces the patient’s exposure to radiation.
