Fitness Center
The Community Fitness Center, under the direction of the Director of Physical Therapy, is adjacent to the physical therapy department on the first floor of the Clarke County Hospital. In addition to physical therapy patients using the center, community members are able to use the center.
Hours of operation are 6 a.m.- 8 p.m., Monday - Friday. During the winter, the fitness center is open 1-5 p.m. on Sundays.
- Equipment includes treadmills, bikes, steppers, elliptical trainer and weight equipment.
- Memberships are sold either daily, monthly or annually. Senior citizen discounts are available.
- Staffing includes the physical therapy staff during the day, and fitness center assistants in early mornings and evenings.
- The staff's goals are to insure safe, correct use of all equipment to maximize effectiveness of the exercise program.
