Clarke County Hospital Emergency Services personnel provide quality medical care to the patrons of our community. Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day, including an on-site emergency physician and dedicated emergency room nurses. We average 3,500 emergency room 
visits per year.
Our EMS staff consists of 17 personnel, including EMT B, EMT I and EMT P certified staff. The Clarke County Hospital Ambulance Service maintains two ambulances which are equipped to provide ACLS services. The ambulance averages nearly 800 emergency responses each year. In addition to responding to medical emergencies, the EMS staff also provides support in response to Hazmat incidents, traffic accidents, weather emergencies and public safety awareness training for both children and adults
