Clarke County Hospital Auxiliary Makes Major Contribution to Capital Campaign

The dedication and hard work of the Clarke County Hospital Auxiliary has resulted in a $15,000 contribution to Clarke County Hospital Foundation’s “Transform Your Community’s Healthcare” capital campaign to help expand and renovate the hospital’s facility and services.

The $15,000 contribution includes $5,000 from the Auxiliary snack fund, $2,100 from the hospital gift shop fund, and $7,900 from the Auxiliary general fund, which is money raised from book sales, bake sales, Angel tree donations, snack sales, gifts and other activities.

The Auxiliary’s contribution will be matched by an additional $15,000 from the Clarke County Development Corporation’s Visionary Pledge, resulting in a total contribution of $30,000. To date, $992,000 has been pledged toward the Clarke County Hospital Foundation’s capital campaign goal of $1 million dollars.

“Clarke County Hospital is very appreciative of donations and gifts made to the Clarke County Hospital Foundation capital campaign,” stated Ed Huenemann, Clarke County Hospital’s Foundation Coordinator. “Thank you to our wonderful Auxiliary members for their generous contribution!”
