Ways to Help During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Clarke County Hospital is very grateful for the overwhelming offers of support pouring in from our amazing community! Many are asking for ways to support our team members: We have had snacks delivered by the Osceola Chamber and CCDC, gift cards for area restaurants, and thank you cards from local students.

We are also looking for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).  Several area businesses have dropped off extra supplies of masks and gloves as we await supplemental shipments of equipment from State and vendor sources.

Handmade Masks

Clarke County Hospital is collecting handmade masks. We ask that you follow the pattern that is posted on our website at the link:

https://www.clarkehosp.org/covid-19-information.aspx

The pattern that we have posted is an OLSON Mask.  This mask can be washed, the filter replaced, and re-used.  If you've already made masks using another pattern, that's OK. Directions on where to drop masks off are on our website, as well as Hospital contact information for questions.

The masks will be used for non-clinical (no direct patient contact) functions within the Hospital.  We will also be sending masks out to area organizations who have need, like Nursing Homes, school lunch delivery volunteers, etc.
