COVID-19 PFIZER Vaccine Booster Update

Following the CDC’s recent recommendation on the PFIZER vaccine COVID-19 booster shots, Clarke County Hospital has scheduled a PFIZER vaccine booster dose clinic on Thursday, October 14, 2021.  Booster dose recipients must have received the PFIZER primary series (2 doses) vaccination and fit in one of the following categories:

  • People 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series.
  • People aged 50–64 years with underlying medical conditions at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series.
  • People aged 18–49 years with underlying medical conditions at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series, based on their individual benefits and risks. 
  • People aged 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series, based on their individual benefits and risks.

When:                  Thursday, October 14, 2021 beginning at 8:00 am.

Where:                 Clarke County Hospital, 800 South Fillmore, Osceola, Iowa

PFIZER Booster dose recipients must show proof (vaccination record) of PFIZER primary two dose vaccination prior to receiving the PFIZER booster dose.
