NEWS RELEASE

Clarke County Hospital Welcomes Radiant Complexions Dermatology

Radiant Complexions (RC) Dermatology, an entity of Iowa Dermatology Clinic, will begin seeing patients at the Outpatient Specialty Clinic at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola starting on March 18, 2020. The clinic will open on the first and third Wednesday of each month.

“We have developed an outstanding relationship with Clarke County Hospital and are very much looking forward to providing our services,” said Matthew Schemmel, MHA, RC Chief Operating Officer. “Patients in rural communities shouldn’t have to drive long distances or endure long wait times to receive dermatology care. We are excited for the opportunity to provide access to high quality dermatology services to the people of Clarke County.”

The clinic will offer complete, convenient and personalized dermatology care, providing both medical and cosmetic services. Each of RC Dermatology’s 14 clinics focus on medical treatment for skin cancer, moles, rashes, psoriasis, acne, eczema and other skin conditions.

“We are always looking for ways to provide quality care, close to home,” said Brian Evans, Clarke County Hospital Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited to have RC Dermatology services locally, so that our patients can see a dermatology provider close to home or work, without traveling great distances.”

Heidi Curtis, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C, DCNP, who practices out of the Radiant Complexions Dermatology clinic in Urbandale, IA, will be providing dermatology care at the Outpatient Specialty Clinic at Clarke County Hospital. Heidi is a certified family nurse practitioner and dermatology certified nurse practitioner trained to provide care to the entire family. After earning her undergraduate degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Southern Indiana.
